Clarity II emits pulses of light at specific wavelengths that are selectively absorbed by the hemoglobin (blood pigment) in the spider veins. It heats the vessel walls, causing the targeted vein to shrink, seal, and collapse without harming the surrounding skin.

The dual-wavelength specifically targets blood vessels and hemoglobin in the skin. In rosacea and general redness, the visible signs come from tiny, dilated vessels and diffuse vascular activity. The laser’s energy is absorbed by these vessels, causing them to heat up, collapse, and be gradually reabsorbed by the body, which reduces persistent redness and the appearance of visible capillaries.
